Girls Pint Out Celebrates Glazed Over The Third Annual National MobCraft and Girls Pint Out Collaboration.

Kate Bruno from the Ann Arbor Girls Pint Out chapter won the recipe contest with Glazed Over.  Glazed over is an Imperial Cream Ale brewed with whole glazed doughnuts, honey, sprinkled with cinnamon, vanilla, and a hint of Maple.

Kate says when she thought about the recipe, she was inspired by thinking about what foods she likes and what may taste good in beer form. “There’s a place called Dom’s Donuts down the street from her house that’s incredible!”  There was also another beer she tried once with cherry pie used in the mash so why not throw a bunch of donuts in right? The result was her Glazed Over Recipe which was selected by the brewers at Mobcraft who suggested adding maple and maltodextrin.

Glazed over was brewed in June at a Member event where Girls Pint Out Member along with the winners are encouraged to visit the brewhouse and observe the brewing process. Around 20 women from several chapters attended the event.

The official Glazed Over release was August 24, 2019 and will be available in the MobCraft taproom and select locations where Mobcraft Distributes.

Every year Girls Pint Out partners with MobCraft Beer in  Milwaukee to create a special Girls Pint Out beer. Members are encouraged to submit recipe

s which are then reviewed by MobCraft and narrowed down to ten finalists.

Woman are then encouraged to vote on their favorite recipes for a certain period of time and one lucky member wins the chance to be brew master for the day with an all-expense paid (hotel & flight) trip to Milwaukee to brew beer with the Mobcraft team and recognized with their name chapter on the beer can label.
